BEST EARLY CAREER RESEARCHER AWARD - Dr. (Mrs.) Linda Batsa Debrah

As part of activities that marked the maiden Research Week Celebration of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, the 2023 Research Excellence Awards was held to climax the week-long celebration. Given the significance of the event, the director of the Office of Grants and Research (OGR), Professor Philip Antwi-Agyei, stated that this year’s event sought to recognise researches who have made outstanding contributions to the grant portfolio and research enterprise of KNUST. It was at this event that Dr. (Mrs.) Linda Batsa Debrah received the Best Mid Career Researcher Award. The award was presented by the Vice Chancellor for KNUST, Professor (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson. Also, KCCR received the award for the best research institute among all the research centers at KNUST.
