Funding TAKeOFF
The TAKeOFF consortium is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) under the Research Networks for Health Innovations in Sub-Saharan Africa (RHISSA ) program. This is TAKeOFF’s consortium second round of funding, in the first phase of funding, which started in 2016, it was among the five African-German networks that were funded.
The TAKeOFF network is composed of 5 partners, from three African countries and 2 German institutions. These are: KNUST / KCCR in Kumasi Ghana, University Hospital Bonn in Bonn Germany, University of Buea in Buea Cameroon, National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR) – Tanzania, and the LMU Munich.
